Author Bio

A global leader on Africanfuturism, and an international literary superstar, Nnedi Okorafor is an award-winning novelist of African-based science fiction and fantasy for both children and adults. She's the author of the Black Panther comics with a movie adaptation that became a world-wide sensation!  She authored a spinoff graphic novel, Wakanda Forever, which another Hollywood hit. Among her many works are the Binti trilogy, the Akata Witch books (both optioned for the screen), and her latest, SHE WHO KNOWS.  She's the winner of a Hugo, Nebula, World Fantasy, Locus, and Lodestar Award. Nnedi holds a PhD in Literature.
