KCPL is delighted to be participating in the Maryland Commission on African American History and Culture's 3rd Annual Statewide Book Drive and invites you to be a part of making an impact by donating a book!
What to Donate
New or nearly new books focusing on discovering, documenting, preserving, collecting, and promoting Maryland’s African American heritage.
When to Donate
February - May 2026
Donations must be made inside the library during KCPL's regular business hours. Please do not put donations in the book drop.
Where to Donate
All KCPL branches
Donated books will be distributed to the community during Main Street Chestertown's Juneteenth celebration. Stay tuned for more details!
