Happiness Hour: Creative Time for Grown-Ups - Creative New Year's Resolutions In-Person
Happiness Hour is a time for grown-ups to explore their powers of creativity. Join us to try your hand at something new and leave a little happier than you arrived!
Featured Project: One Word (or maybe two) - A Creative Approach to New Year's Resolutions
The practice of creating New Year's resolutions has been around for thousands of years in different formats, but only a small percentage of modern people report successfully achieving their resolutions. In the recent past, there's been a growing interest in choosing a single word or unifying theme for the year rather than setting specific resolutions and some evidence suggests it's a more effective way to stay focused on your goals. If resolutions aren't your cup of tea or if you just want to try a new approach, join us to explore what your 2020 word will be.
Join us to explore this creative take on the idea of new year’s resolutions!
You’ll take away:
- a word or theme for 2020
- a creative collage or other visual representations of your theme
- inspiration to carry you into the new decade
Supplies will be provided, though you are welcome to bring any special supplies you want to incorporate. Space is limited and registration is required for this FREE program.
