It's Library Card Sign-Up Month!
A KCPL library card gives you access to so much, including:

books, audiobooks, and graphic novels

DVDs and streaming videos

video games, board games, STEM kits, and book discussion kits

ebooks and audiobooks

online classes and homework help
Sign up for a library card in-person during the month of September and pick up a KCPL swag bag while supplies last!
SIGNING UP FOR A LIBRARY CARD IS EASY!
A library card is free for Maryland residents, including current Washington College students.
Non-residents can get a card for a $10 annual fee.
To apply, you will need:
- Current valid photo ID
- Proof of current address or documentation of no fixed address
- If under 18, a parent or guardian must co-sign.
You can sign up in person at any KCPL location or online.
